Where is it?
Umina is 1 hour north of Sydney on the scenic Central Coast. Umina is on the shores of Broken Bay at the confluence of the major waterways of Pittwater, the Hawkesbury River and Brisbane Waters. Umina is also at the eastern edge of the Brisbane Waters National Park with conserves 12,0000 ha of ruggered sandstone country - a great place to see wildflowers and Aboriginal rock carvings and to do some bird watching and fauna spotting as you negotiate the rugged bush walking tracks.
A short drive north takes you into the big commercial centre of Gosford, the heart of the Central Coast.

Ettalong Beach
The heritage town of Ettalong Beach has undergone major revitalisation in the recent years. It now offers a wonderful selection of antique and specialty stores, all within a picturesque setting just a few minutes from the beach. With many quality restaurants and cafes, the beautiful, Cinema Paradiso and the large Ettalong Beach Club all add to the charm and appeal of this popular tourist spot.
 
Woy Woy
Well known for many decades as a popular fishing village, Woy Woy is surrounded by deep, clear water and nestles within a frame of native trees. Here, you can catch a ferry and take a relaxing cruise around Brisbane Waters or feed the famous pelicans at the wharf.
 
Australian Reptile Park
Spend the day at the National Award Winning Australian Reptile Park, home to the infamous "Eric" the crocodile. Enjoy the exciting spider displays, snake handling, koala talks and many other events scheduled througout the day. There's giant reptiles, wombats, platypus, Tasmanian devils, kangaroos and much more. Forest of Tranquility Wildlife Sanctuary
Experience all the screts and surprises of wilderness walks in one of the most beautiful areas of natural rainforest in New South Wales. Bird and wallaby feeding takes place daily at 12:30pm. The forest is home to over a hundred species of native birds and animals. From 1 October to 31 March Wednesday to Sunday evenings, enjoy the special majic of the forests Twilight Show and from November to mid December the spectacular Firefly Festival.
